Shaun Capps is the founding principal of Shaun Capps Injury Law and is an award-winning attorney practicing exclusively in the area of personal injury. He has recovered millions of dollars for injury victims and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi Million Dollar Advocates Forum which is recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States with fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers being members. His core practice areas are Car Accidents, Trucking Accidents, Motorcycle Accidents, Wrongful Death, Premises Liability/Slip and Falls, Pedestrian Accidents, Dog Bites, and Medical Malpractice.

He was born and raised in Marion, South Carolina before moving to Amory, Mississippi. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/History and received his Juris Doctor from Birmingham School of Law. Shaun began his legal career while in law school by working for University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital in the Lien Unit where he distinguished himself by recovering millions of dollars from third parties.

Following a clerkship in the Domestic Relations Division of the Alabama Tenth Judicial Circuit in Jefferson County, Shaun began working at Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys and quickly proved himself as a talented and relentless negotiator and began working directly under Owner and CEO Alexander Shunnarah, serving as his personal Case Manager for 3 years. He now leverages his unique skillset and claim experience to aggressively represent clients in their time of need. Shaun is Of Counsel with Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys.

A self-proclaimed negotiation junkie, Shaun is a best-selling author of Empathy and Understanding in Business with co-author Chris Voss, several time best-seller and preeminent negotiator in the world. Shaun has dedicated a significant portion of his practice to pro bono work to ensure justice and fairness to those who may not be able to afford private legal services. A proud member of the Christian Legal Society, he conducts and participates in free legal aid workshops as well as volunteering his time to several churches and non-profit ministries across the country.

He is an Adjunct Torts Professor at Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, California and teaches national conferences on such topics as negotiation, torts, and rainmaking. When Shaun is away from the office, he is spending time with his wife Olya, daughters Solomiya and Katarina and son Roman. They are members of Christian Life Church in Hoover and are active with many groups and are personally involved in various widow, orphan, and adoption ministries.
